Overload List

KernelDensityGridOptions(Int32, Nullable<Double>, Nullable<Double>, Double)

Initializes direct grid evaluation settings.
C#
public KernelDensityGridOptions(
	int pointCount = 512,
	double? lowerBound = null,
	double? upperBound = null,
	double padding = 3
)

Parameters

pointCount  Int32  (Optional)
The number of output points, including both endpoints. Must be at least 2. The default is 512.
lowerBound  Nullable<Double>  (Optional)
The finite lower evaluation bound, or null for the sample minimum minus padding times bandwidth.
upperBound  Nullable<Double>  (Optional)
The finite upper evaluation bound, or null for the sample maximum plus padding times bandwidth.
padding  Double  (Optional)
The finite nonnegative padding in adjusted bandwidths, used for unspecified bounds. The default is 3.

Remarks

Uses direct evaluation with no binning or tail truncation.

Exceptions

ArgumentOutOfRangeExceptionThe point count, an explicit bound or padding is invalid.
ArgumentExceptionBoth bounds are supplied but their difference is not finite and positive.

KernelDensityGridOptions(KernelDensityFftOptions, Int32, Nullable<Double>, Nullable<Double>, Double)

Initializes grid settings with optional Gaussian FFT approximation.
C#
public KernelDensityGridOptions(
	KernelDensityFftOptions? fftOptions,
	int pointCount = 512,
	double? lowerBound = null,
	double? upperBound = null,
	double padding = 3
)

Parameters

fftOptions  KernelDensityFftOptions
Explicit approximation controls, or null for direct evaluation. FFT requires the built-in Gaussian kernel.
pointCount  Int32  (Optional)
The number of output points, including both endpoints. Must be at least 2. The default is 512.
lowerBound  Nullable<Double>  (Optional)
The finite lower evaluation bound, or null for the sample minimum minus padding times bandwidth.
upperBound  Nullable<Double>  (Optional)
The finite upper evaluation bound, or null for the sample maximum plus padding times bandwidth.
padding  Double  (Optional)
The finite nonnegative padding in adjusted bandwidths, used for unspecified bounds. The default is 3.

Remarks

FFT approximation is explicitly requested and never substituted for direct evaluation by default. Output point count is independent of internal FFT resolution. Bounds control evaluation, not statistical support.

Exceptions

ArgumentOutOfRangeExceptionThe point count, an explicit bound or padding is invalid.
ArgumentExceptionBoth bounds are supplied but their difference is not finite and positive.
