Special Functions

Special functions are solutions of non-linear differential equations that arise in scientific and engineering applications. All special functions are methods of the Special class.

Note: In previous classes, there were separate classes for each category of special function. In most cases, the method names are identical. Bessel functions get the Bessel prefix, while Airy functions now have the Airy prefix.
