Overload List

IsFinite(Double) Returns whether the specified double-precision floating-point number is finite.
IsFinite(Single) Returns whether the specified float-precision floating-point number is finite.

IsFinite(Double)

Returns whether the specified double-precision floating-point number is finite.
C#
public static bool IsFinite(
	double x
)

Parameters

x  Double
A double-precision floating-point number.

Return Value

Boolean
true if x is not NaN and not infinite; otherwise false.

Remarks

This method is significantly faster than the IsNaN(Double) method in many situations.

IsFinite(Single)

Returns whether the specified float-precision floating-point number is finite.
C#
public static bool IsFinite(
	float x
)

Parameters

x  Single
A float-precision floating-point number.

Return Value

Boolean
true if x is not NaN and not infinite; otherwise false.

Remarks

This method is significantly faster than the IsNaN(Double) method in many situations.
