Gets a value indicating whether the TriangularMatrix<T>
is singular.
Definition
Namespace: Extreme.Mathematics.LinearAlgebra
Assembly: Extreme.Numerics (in Extreme.Numerics.dll) Version: 8.1.23
C#
true if the matrix is singular; otherwise false.
Assembly: Extreme.Numerics (in Extreme.Numerics.dll) Version: 8.1.23
public override bool IsSingular()
Return Value
Booleantrue if the matrix is singular; otherwise false.
Remarks
A matrix is singular when its rows or columns are not linearly independent. For a triangular matrix, this occurs when one of the elements on the diagonal is zero.
A singular matrix does not have an inverse, and a system of simultaneous linear equation corresponding to the matrix does not have a unique solution.
