Definition

Namespace: Numerics.NET.LinearAlgebra.Implementation
Assembly: Numerics.NET (in Numerics.NET.dll) Version: 9.0.2

Overload List

HermitianBandMatrixNorm(MatrixNorm, MatrixTriangle, Int32, Int32, ReadOnlySpan<T>, Int32)

Computes the norm of a symmetric band matrix.
C#
public T HermitianBandMatrixNorm(
	MatrixNorm norm,
	MatrixTriangle storedTriangle,
	int n,
	int k,
	ReadOnlySpan<T> ab,
	int ldab
)

Parameters

norm  MatrixNorm
A MatrixNorm that specifies the type of norm to compute.
storedTriangle  MatrixTriangle
A MatrixTriangle value that specifies whether the matrix elements are stored in the upper or lower triangle.
n  Int32
The number of rows and columns of the matrix.
k  Int32
The number of sub- and super-diagonals of the matrix.
ab  ReadOnlySpan<T>
A span of T that contains the elements of the matrix in band storage format.
ldab  Int32
The leading dimension of the matrix ab.

Return Value

T
The norm of the matrix.

Implements

ILinearAlgebraOperations<T>.HermitianBandMatrixNorm(MatrixNorm, MatrixTriangle, Int32, Int32, ReadOnlySpan<T>, Int32)

Remarks

For real element types, this method is equivalent to SymmetricBandMatrixNorm(MatrixNorm, MatrixTriangle, Int32, Int32, ReadOnlySpan<T>, Int32). For complex element types, this method corresponds to the LAPACK routine ?LANHB.
