Remarks

This interface omits the typed column key because that key depends on the column-key type parameter of DataFrameSchema<R, C>. It still exposes checked generic accessors for missing-value metadata because those accessors depend on the column element type, not on the column-key type.

Column schema objects are inspection-only. They do not mutate the data frame, vector storage, roles, semantic metadata, missing-value settings, or categorical representation.

Properties

CategoryIndex Gets the category index for the column when it is backed by a categorical vector.
ElementType Gets the runtime element type of the column vector.
IsCategorical Gets whether the column is backed by a categorical representation.
MissingValues Gets the missing-value schema metadata for the column.
Ordinal Gets the zero-based column ordinal in the schema snapshot.
Role Gets the semantic role assigned to the column.
Semantics Gets semantic metadata assigned to the column.
