Least Squares Optimizer.Use Iterative Solver Property
Gets or sets whether an iterative method computes optimization steps for dense Jacobians.
Definition
Namespace: Numerics.NET.Optimization
Assembly: Numerics.NET (in Numerics.NET.dll) Version: 10.9.0
C#
true to use the iterative method for all Jacobians; otherwise false. The default is false.

public bool UseIterativeSolver { get; set; }Property Value
Booleantrue to use the iterative method for all Jacobians; otherwise false. The default is false.
Remarks
Sparse Jacobians always use the iterative method. Dense Jacobians use a direct matrix factorization unless this property is set to true. The iterative method approximates each step through repeated multiplications by the Jacobian and its transpose. It can reduce calculation time and additional memory use for large fits, but the dense Jacobian still needs storage for every entry. It may require many more calculations when the data do not clearly distinguish the effects of different parameters.
