Parameters

key  C

The typed column key.

Type Parameters

C

The element type of the data frame column index.

Return Value

The key is validated when the selector is resolved against a schema. A missing explicit key throws KeyNotFoundException during resolution. Resolving this selector against a schema with a different column-key type throws InvalidCastException.
