public virtual MissingValueRepresentation MissingValueRepresentation { get; }

Property Value

MissingValueRepresentation

Remarks

This property is part of the implementation contract for derived matrix types.

None means the matrix does not provide a missing-value representation. ByValue means missingness is represented by comparing a specific in-band logical value with the matrix's configured missing value. LogicalMask means missingness is represented by a separate Boolean mask. IndexMask means missingness is represented by a separate index structure or negative-index convention.

The base implementation reports an in-band representation except for Boolean matrices, for which false is an ordinary value rather than a missing sentinel. This property does not indicate whether this matrix is missing-aware or currently contains missing values.

A derived type with mask-based or otherwise out-of-band semantics must override IsMissingCore(Int32, Int32), UnsafeSetMissing(Int32, Int32), and MissingValueRepresentation consistently.
